2nd/3rd/4th/5th Phases of The Moon Diagram – Labeling and Coloring or Cookies

Description

Use this worksheet to help students in understanding the phases of the moon! Please use this sheet for 2nd through 5th graders. This sheet is appropriate for both homeschool and classroom students to use.

The packet includes a labeling worksheet with space to fill in the names of the moon phases. The students can color in the phases as well, or you can open up creamed filled cookies (like Oreos) and have students remove the correct amount of cream for each moon phase. This activity is a favorite among my own children, even as they have gotten older! In addition, there is also a second sheet to assist you with going through the phases. The second sheet is a descriptive list of the moon phases to aid the student (or teacher/parent).
