Current Events Graphic Organizer
This is a worksheet that aids students in researching, reading, and comprehending a current event. This is a generic graphic organizer and worksheet that can be used with various grade levels for any current event. It works well at home for a homeschooler, or in the classroom.
There are two pages in the events graphic. The first has the student list the who, what, where, and when of the events. The second page includes a short summary. Also, it has a spot to find 3 vocabulary words from the article and look up their definitions. At the end of the sheet, it asks for the student’s opinion of the article.
