I started this site as a way to organize all my homeschool themes and units for my own children. It is a sister site to my travel website in which you can find free and low cost Florida destinations.
In keeping with the same theme, this site provides budget friendly activities and unit studies, especially for those schooling multiple grades!! Curriculum can get pricey, but we like to keep it simple with unit studies – if you aren’t familiar with what a unit study is you can read my post about it here.
On the website itself you’ll find some basic outlines to different unit studies, some of the projects we have worked on during those studies, some free worksheets, and the option to buy the entire unit or pieces of it on teachers pay teachers. You can also find additional links that you can use with the unit.. because let’s face it, it’s easy to go down the rabbit hole if your child finds an interest in a particular topic!!
Most of the full units include a supply list, library book list, worksheets for different grade levels – math and language arts, writing projects (for the older learners), science & stem experiments, art & culture projects, documentaries to watch, games to play, and more!
